Get Respect -- Get Published |
|
|
|
The quickest way to gain respect in the field of public speaking is to be able to add "published author" to your list of credentials. It not only garners respect, but often leads to bigger fees and more jobs.
Today, it's not necessary to go through the hassle and expense of publishing a book ink-on-paper. Many books these days are being published in electronic (e-book) format in PDF
(Adobe's Portable Document Format) which is readable on all modern computers using a free reader program called Acrobat. ATSA Members can get their e-books published by us
and sold directly from our web site and/or our soon-to-launch sister site, AmericanE-Books.com
. Of course, you can sell them from your own web site as well. We can take a book composed in any word
processing application and convert it into an E-book.Don't think you can write a book? Hogwash. If you can put together a public presentation of your material, you
can write a book. Simply take your presenter's notes, fill in the blanks as you would when speaking before an audience, and voila! You're a published author. |
