Prepare For a Full Schedule
 

From the moment you arrive at the Certified Professional Trainer College, you'll know you're about to experience something special. You will learn more because you will be made to feel welcome and important, and most of all, you will have fun.

This schedule is only a guide. Each College we present is customized for the audience. On-site colleges usually have entirely customized curricula.

To stay fresh and sharp, we take breaks between each session.

DAY 1

8:00 a.m. - Registration

8:30 a.m. Classes Begin

    Welcome and Introductions
    Making it in the Seminar / Professional Training Industry -
    Learn the different ways to make a living by sharing your knowledge with others.
    Marketing Yourself - You can be the world's most dynamic speaker/trainer, but if no one knows you're there, you'll never make a living from it.

11:30 a.m. - One Hour for Lunch - on your own

    Media Kit Production - We teach you how to develop and produce a media kit which will get noticed by assignment editors and get you much-needed free publicity.
    How to Keep Them Interested - "The brain can only absorb what the butt can endure. Keep you presentation interesting and people will learn more.
    How Adults Learn - Adults have a different way of learning. Know these techniques and your audience will retain more information.

6:00 p.m. - End of Day - Dinner on your own

 

 

DAY 2

8:00 a.m.  Classes Begin

    Icebreakers - Learn how to warm up a class and "prime their learning pump."
    How to Present - Getting your point across is all in how you present yourself. Learn valuable techniques guaranteed to keep your audience's mind on the task at hand.
    Write That Book / Self Publishing - Becoming a published author is almost a necessity in the training industry. Learn how to write and publish a book on what you know.

11:30 a.m. - Lunch - on your own

    Presentation Aids - Technology is constantly changing. Keep up with the latest techniques to help present your material.
    Web site Development - Don't underestimate the single-biggest promotional tool for any business.
    Audio/Video Production - You'll learn how to put together video and/or audio tapes of your presentation for sale or self-promotion.

6:00 p.m. - Graduation
